Before joining Oregonians for Food and Shelter as Office Manager in 2014, Diann owned a forestry business with her husband for 28 years, where she managed all aspects of the office. Together they provided reforestation services throughout the western United States, including tree planting, pre-commercial thinning, backpack spraying, wildfire suppression and roadside vegetation management.
Diann is a committed advocate for Oregon’s natural resource sector. She has been a long-time member of both Oregon Women in Timber (currently Treasurer and Auction Chair), and Oregon Women for Agriculture (currently Polk County Chapter President). Diann was recognized by Associated Oregon Loggers as the 2009 Woman of the Year for her work managing her family business and promoting forestry education through Oregon Women in Timber. She is also a graduate of REAL Oregon Class 3, 2019-2020.
