HEADLINE NEWS...

A group of natural resource lobby met with Bill Boggess, Experiment Station, Scott Reed of Extension and Hal Salwasser of Forestry Research lab on Friday to discuss what the  statewide budgets might look like after session.  Of course, it all depends on what the legislature does in the final analysis.  It clearly sounds like the least amount of damage that could be done is a 15% cut and the most damage could be as high as 30%.  Unfortunately, with the current legislative leadership coupled with the Governor, OSU statewides are not a priority and it would not be much different even if the budget was more affluent.
