Below is an Advisory for the use and broadcast spreading of Zinc Phosphide (ZnP). U.S. Fish and Wildlife and the Oregon Department of Agriculture brought to our attention that a significant numbers of geese have been slow to move out of the Willamette Valley this year and that growers need to take special precautions when applying ZnP.
This is not a label change. This is an effort to draw grower's attention to the industry's obligation to protect geese.
